Interviewer: Dorian, you’ve been a resident of West Hollywood for 18 years, and you've served on the Public Facilities, Recreation, and Infrastructure Commission. What inspired you to run for City Council?
Dorian:
Living here for so long, I’ve witnessed our city’s evolution, and I want to ensure that growth reflects the values of our diverse community. I’m passionate about public service and believe in protecting civil liberties, enhancing public safety, and promoting sustainable growth.
Interviewer: What are some of the key issues you're focusing on in your campaign?
Dorian:
Homelessness, public safety, and housing affordability are major concerns. I also want to address the accessibility and inclusivity of our public spaces, ensuring West Hollywood remains a welcoming community for everyone.
Interviewer: How do you see yourself standing out from other candidates?
Dorian:
I bring a unique blend of experience in public service, a commitment to supporting various causes, and a deep connection to the community. My work on the Commission and in Culver City’s Parks and Recreation division has prepared me to tackle issues from a grassroots level while staying focused on long-term solutions for the city.
Interviewer: What message do you want to share with voters as Election Day approaches?
Dorian:
My goal is to amplify the voices of residents. I’m committed to transparency, action, and supporting a city that is safe, inclusive, and thriving. I hope to earn the community’s trust and votes this November.
